Women’s Kickboxing Classes (6 weeks)
Six weeks, zero intimidation — structured, friendly, and paced for you. Never played a sport? Not as active as you’d like lately? This cohort is built to meet everyone at their own level.
Friendly, welcoming, and a little kicks & giggles — with a real beginner curriculum underneath.

Who it’s for
- You’re brand new to kickboxing — or to sports in general — and want a gentle, structured on-ramp.
- You haven’t been as active as you wish you were lately, and you want something that meets you where you are today.
- You like the idea of movement that’s fun and social, not a punishment or a bootcamp.
- You want a small group where the coach can actually see you, answer questions, and adjust to different paces.
What you’ll get
- A true beginner program — clear weekly progressions, no “sink or swim” energy
- Skills taught in small chunks you can absorb, so the next step always feels doable
- A solid foundation in stance, strikes, kicks, and defense — easy to build on later if you keep training
- Positive, reinforcement-first coaching in a welcoming, low-ego room
- Equipment provided for class, plus an optional bonus weekend class (coed) when you’re ready for extra reps

Basics without rush, making sure you're comfortable on your feet.
- Week 2Jab, cross, hook, uppercut
Simple punches with the why, how, when, where explained to you.
- Week 3Push kick, side kick
The 2 most important kicks to learn, and how to use them.
- Week 4Thai kick, switch kick
The 2 most popular kicks, broken down into easily absorbed chunks.
- Week 5Defense, Defense, Defense!
Common techniques gamified with a partner to make blocking and defending fun!
- Week 6Combinations + Review
Putting the pieces together and trying out your new skills in a fun, gamified way.
Bonus weekend class
If you want extra practice, you’re welcome at a weekend group class (coed, Saturday at 10am). Totally optional — come when it feels right.
Cap it off by attending a local kickboxing event!
NWC (NorthWest Championships) is a local amateur fighting promotion, hosting events just up the road in Salmon Creek. Our gym often has fighters competing in these events, but this is a great chance to experience a taste of the sport you’ve been training for the last six weeks. Their next event is Saturday, June 13th.
